By placing a booking through the Fab Cakes Newcastle online booking service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These form a legally binding contract between you (the “Customer”) and Fab Cakes Newcastle.

Booking & Payment

All masterclass places must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Your place is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
-
Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
-
The masterclass is priced at £180 per person and includes all materials, equipment, 12 cupcakes to decorate, and the refreshments stated in the service description.

Cancellation and transfers
-
Bookings are non-refundable.
-
If you need to cancel or are unable to attend, you must provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
-
With at least 48 hours’ notice, your booking may be transferred to an alternative available class date.
-
Transfers are subject to availability and can only be made to a suitable alternative date offered by the masterclass.
-
Cancellations or non-attendance with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
-
Once a class has started, places cannot be transferred to another date.

Changing your booking

Requests to change your class date must be made at least 48 hours before your original class.

Date changes are subject to availability.
-
Bookings cannot be transferred to another person unless agreed in advance.

Arrival and punctuality

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow time to settle in and prepare.

The masterclass will begin promptly at the advertised time.

Late arrival may result in you missing demonstrations or parts of the practical session, and additional time may not be available to catch up.

Please allow sufficient travel time and plan for potential delays.

All materials required for the masterclass will be provided unless otherwise stated.

Allergens and food safety

Please inform us of any dietary requirements or food allergies at the time of booking.

The masterclass involves the use of common allergens, which may include gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and soya.

Although reasonable care will be taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to the nature of the class and the preparation of food on the premises.

If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please contact us before booking to discuss whether the class is suitable for you.

Finished Cupcakes

Participants will decorate 12 cupcakes during the masterclass and may take their completed cupcakes home.

Designs may vary depending on the techniques demonstrated and the participant’s individual choices.

Due to the handmade nature of sugarcraft, finished designs may differ slightly from promotional images.
-
Once cupcakes have been taken away from the premises, responsibility for their safe storage and transportation passes to the participant.

Photography & Content

Photography and filming may take place during the masterclass for promotional and social media purposes.

We will respect any participant who does not wish to appear in promotional content. Please let us know before the class begins.

Participants are welcome to take photographs and videos of their own work, provided this does not disrupt the class or include other participants without their permission.

Class changes & cancellation by the organiser

In exceptional circumstances, the organiser reserves the right to change the class date, venue or content where necessary.

If the organiser needs to cancel or reschedule a class, participants will be offered an alternative class date or an appropriate refund where applicable.

Every effort will be made to provide reasonable notice of any changes.

Participants may use the skills learned to create cupcakes for personal use and, where appropriate, for their own future baking projects or business.

Class materials, written guides, designs, templates and original teaching content remain the intellectual property of the organiser and may not be reproduced, resold or distributed without permission.
