Order online T&C’s

By placing an order through the Fab Cakes Newcastle online ordering service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These form a legally binding contract between you (the “Customer”) and Fab Cakes Newcastle.

Collection, delivery and transfer

Customers choose a pickup time during checkout. Please arrive within your scheduled time slot. If you are late, contact us as soon as possible — we'll try to accommodate but cannot guarantee availability outside your window.

Any delivery services agreed will be confirmed at checkout.

Delivery dates/times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for loss or theft once delivery is completed by our delivery partner.

Once the cake or products are collected or delivered, responsibility for safe handling and storage transfers to you.

Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on the site include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated

Delivery fees (if applicable) will be shown at checkout.

Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change your order (product, date/time), contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate changes based on availability.

Orders can normally be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery time for a full refund.

Custom or personalised orders may require 72 hours notice for cancellation.

Orders cancelled within 12 hours of the pickup/delivery time may not be eligible for a refund due to production schedules and perishability.

Refunds and Returns

Refunds are subject to approval and at our discretion unless required by law.

If we cancel your order due to non-fulfilment, unavailability, or error, you will receive a full refund.

How Refunds Work:

Eligible refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7-30 days.

Please provide your order number and relevant details when requesting a refund.

No Returns for Perishables

Because cakes and similar products are perishable, returns are generally not accepted unless defective or incorrect.

Damaged or incorrect products

Reporting Issues

Because of the perishable nature of our products, quality/damage complaints should be made within 1 hour of collection or delivery, including a photo and order details.

Remedies

If products are damaged, faulty, or incorrect when received, we will at our discretion replace the item or offer a refund (including return delivery costs if appropriate).

Allergens and food safety

We will provide allergen information where requested

We take precautions but cannot guarantee zero trace of allergens - products may have been in contact with allergens during preparation.

Liability limitations

General Limitation

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the cost of the products supplied.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., event costs, loss of earnings).

UK Law

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., severe weather, traffic disruption, supplier issues).
